Update: EvoTears and Hycosan Shield - shipping to the US

We regretfully need to announce that we can no longer ship EvoTears or Hycosan Shield to the US.

This is a request from the licence holders in the US due to regulatory changes.

The active ingredient perflouorohexyloctane is only approved for supply on prescription and as a single product/brand (MIEBO).

Our company (”Corsearch”), is a leading global provider of online brand protection services, and we are authorized to act on behalf of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated and Bausch + Lomb Ireland Limited to inform you that the EVOTEARS product should be removed from this website because it requires a prescription in the United States and it is being sold without regulatory approval into the United States.  Bausch + Lomb is the only company that the United States Food Drug Administration (“FDA”) has authorized to market perflouorohexyloctane eye drops in the United States. The EVOTEARS brand has not been approved for sale in the United States by the FDA.  The introduction of this drug into interstate commerce on this website violates Section 505(a) of the U.S. Food Drug and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 355(a)) and the FDA regulations implementing that Act (21 CFR Parts 312 and 314).  There is no assurance that this product has been manufactured in accordance with the applicable FDA regulations (21 CFR Parts 210 and 211) which may affect the quality of the product and the safety of patients using such product.

We know this is frustrating but we have to follow these regulations.

Currently there are no issues we know of shipping to the rest of the world.
