For extremes of warm, cold or windy climates, dry eye glasses offer relief from sore, dry or watery eyes.
They have a wraparound design with a soft foam or silicone edge forming an eye cup that seals around the eyes. This prevents tears evaporating and holds a warm, moist enclosed area of humidity over the eyes. The eye cup also prevents dust and pollen entering the eyes and this is why both dry eye and hay fever sufferers may find them useful.
