Macusan A2 is a dietary supplement tailored to satisfy the unique nutritional needs of those with moderate to advanced Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

It contains the combination of vitamins and minerals recommended by the NEI (National Eye Institute) in their long term study AREDS2.

  • Lutein and zeaxanthin help stop special cells in the eye's retina from dying by getting rid of harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the eye.
  • Vitamin E prevents lipid damage by reacting with free radicals, maintaining lipid integrity, and protecting cellular structures.
  • Zinc oxide serves as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, addressing both oxidative stress and chronic inflammation in AMD.
  • Copper oxide acts as a cofactor for antioxidant enzymes which helps neutralise harmful free radicals in the eye, reducing oxidative stress and potential damage to ocular tissues.
