Hydramed Night Sensitive is a lanolin-free lubricating ointment ideal for use at night to help relieve the symptoms of dry eyes.

Hydramed Night Sensitive combines liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin with vitamin A and EXCLUDING lanolin for enhanced comfort and the thicker nature of the product means that it can often protect the eye throughout the whole night.

Vitamin A is part of the natural tear film and as such is very well tolerated as a lubricant. Vitamin A is required for the normal growth, maintenance and maturation of corneal cells and is therefore effective as a treatment when applied topically.

    Great for my lanolin allergy

    It 's a bit messy, I put it on my little fingers and apply to eyes from there. It makes a notable difference to how my eyes feel when I wake up. I cannot use ointment with lanolin, which makes my eyes very sore, so this is perfect for me.

    Butterflies Eyecare was amazing. There wasn’t any ointment lanolin free eye product I could find in North America so I tried this one. Seems to be working great, I am not getting a reaction like I was with the lanolin/wool products. It has worked great for helping heal after my eye surgery. Also Butterflies Eyecare was great to order from, the package arrived at my door in Canada within 3 days. Super impressed!
