Eucerin allergy sun gel-cream SPF50 gives skin prone to sun allergies the high level of sun protection it needs. It also contains antioxidants that soothe the skin and strengthen its own protection system against UVA-induced free radicals, thereby helping to prevent the formation of sun allergies.

Eucerin’s advanced spectral technology offers high factor UVA/UVB protection and HEVIS light defence. Alpha-Glycosylrutin helps to prevent sun-induced allergies such as PLE (Polymorphus Light Eruption).

Licochalcone A is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing ingredient. It is derived from the root of the Chinese liquorice plant (Glycyrrhiza inflata) which uses natural compounds to protect its cells from excessive sunlight. When used in skincare products, Licochalcone A works to reduce inflammation and neutralise free radicals that negatively influence skin cells and accelerate the aging process. It helps to protect the deeper epidermal skin layers from sun-induced effects.

Also known as AGR, Alpha–Glucosyl-Rutin and Glucosylrutin, this naturally derived ingredient is extracted from the pagoda tree. Well tolerated by skin, it is a powerful antioxidant and helps prevent the oxidative stress caused by sun-induced free radicals. This oxidative stress can be a key trigger of sun allergies such as Polymorphous Light Eruption (PLE). AGR has been clinically and dermatologically proven to significantly reduce the risk of developing sun allergy symptoms.
