Actase Lutein ZA is a targeted eye supplement with zinc to maintain healthy vision.

Vitamins C and E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, plus copper to help maintain healthy connective tissue. Vitamin D contributes to normal blood calcium levels.

Actase Lutein ZA contains the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which are plant-based pigments found to concentrate naturally in the macula. Actase Lutein ZA also contains astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant.

What is the macula?

The macula is a yellow pigmented structure at the back of the human eye which is responsible for our central vision. Our central vision is critical to seeing detail, colour and objects directly in front of us. Deterioration of the macula can lead to blurring and possible loss of central vision.
