How to choose a heat mask
Heat treatments such as eye masks and goggles can improve blepharitis by gently warming the oily liquid in the glands. Combined with lid massage afterwards, this helps to release the oils and improve the quality of the tears. Many were developed by ophthalmologists and can be re-used hundreds of times.
In principle they all perform the same job but how they are heated varies and some have additional features or benefits. Things to look out for include:

Utilising a chemical reaction, these masks are ideal for use while travelling.Some have single use pads while other can be 'reset' using boiling water for repeat use.
