What to look for
To find the correct size and fit, it is important to consider the curvature of your eyebrow bone & cheek bone. The anatomy and size of your face are the main factors to be considered on how the eyecup will offer a complete seal around your eyes.
It might be necessary to buy more than one pair initially to ensure you achieve the best fit.
You are looking for something that sits comfortably on the nose with a close fit to the brow and cheek bones. It will not make a 'seal' but should be close fitting.
As we have two ranges and a selection of styles there is plenty of scope for something to fit the majority of face shapes.
7eye AirShield glasses
Designed with active lifestyles in mind, the Airshield performance glasses and sunglasses feature a patented removable (except the Chubasco) eyecup that protects against wind, dust, & airborne irritants.
They have a wraparound style and insulated eye cup that rests gently around your eye sockets, protecting your eyes from being buffeted by the wind and reducing peripheral glare from the sun.
The eye cups have small vents that help to reduce lens fogging and a fine protective screen that filters out dust and pollen effectively, significantly reducing the problem of itchy eyes due to allergic conjunctivitis.
Combined with shatter resistant lenses makes them ideal for a wide variety of activities from walking and jogging to motorcycle and bike riders (or any high velocity activity).

Ziena glasses
Targeted at dry eye suffers, the Ziena eyewear range is made with a silicone shield that locks in eye moisture and protects from airborne irritants like wind, dust, & pollen.
The Ziena range is designed to look more like 'standard' glasses with the addition of a removable soft-feel silicone eye cup that rests gently around the eye sockets.
The eye cup is less visible than on the Airshield, making Ziena glasses a popular choice for wearing everyday at home, at work and around town.
Ziena has proven results against serious ailments such as chronic dry eyes, Sjogren's syndrome, meibomian gland disfunction (MGD), ocular rosacea, Bell’s palsy, light sensitivity, allergic reactions, Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), SLK, blepharitis and more.
Frame size guide
On the description of each pair of dry eye glasses in the 7eye Airshield and Ziena ranges we have listed the approximate dimensions of each frame.
This will hopefully help guide your choices, especially if you can compare to an existing pair of glasses or sunglasses.
Frame adjustment
The Kai, Marina, Panhead & Ventus, feature adjustable sides that can be bent over the ears so you can get the best fit. Bend just the rubber tip, do not bend at the intersection between the rubber and the hard plastic of the side.
The Briza, Cape, Chubasco, Churada & Oasis do not have sides designed to be bent around the ears yourself. They will require gentle heat to make them soft enough to bend (we suggest asking your optician). Or you can use the ear grippers.
The Cape also has extendable sides for further adjustment.
Generally, the closer the fit to your face the greater the relief you will get.
Nose pads
The Ziena range has nose pads that can be adjusted too.
You can squeeze them together gently to tighten the fit on the nose and/or raise them up slightly on your face.
